Your iPhone will "wake up" and also "follow you" with alerts wherever you go. Listen with ease to local weather forecasts while you are on the move. · More Precise Alerts: iMapWeather Radio provides more precise alerts than those offered by the typical consumer alerting service. Most alerting services will alert you to severe weather if you are in a county only partially covered by a watch/warning, even if you are not actually directly in the watch/warning. With iMapWeather Radio you only get an alert if your device or saved locations fall inside a watch/warning box. That means you are not disturbed by false alarms.
· Follow Me: Follow me is a critical feature if you are on the go. Imagine you are driving through severe weather, or trying to get away from severe weather. This app will alert you if you move into an area under a watch/warning without you having to do anything. You don't have to stop and add a new location. The app will make sure to deliver alerts to you no matter where you are.
· Friends and Family: iMapWeather Radio can follow your current location alerting you to dangerous weather, but you can also save five additional stationary locations. That means you can make sure friends and family, at school, out of state, at a ballgame, etc., are safe as well.
· Battery Management: The application is designed conserve your battery even though it uses GPS to give you alerts for your current location. We can't give away our secret sauce, but just know we are careful to limit the GPS usage and we dynamically reduce the usage to help extend battery life.
· Audio: iMapWeather Radio provides audio alerts in the form of beeps followed by a brief description of the alert type. The audio could wake you in the middle of the night or give you the information you need when you can't stop to look at the phone. Furthermore, you can always listen to the alerts and forecast for your area at any time.
· Video: In markets where local media partners participate, you can get streaming video of severe weather coverage. So, you can get up-to-the-minute coverage.

What's New in This Release:
· iMap Weather Radio has been completely rebuilt to advance the overall user experience by increasing responsiveness and performance, eliminating crashes, and addressing other commonly reported issues.
· New interface for adding and managing locations makes it easier to precisely specify saved locations.
· New sidebar design enables you to quickly scan current and saved locations for active alerts
· New UI for presenting alerts shows the alert on the map, the alert text, and provides the associated alert audio on a single screen. The app will open directly to this screen when you open a push notification and will automatically play the alert audio.
· Redesigned radar map improves performance and responsiveness and offers several new weather overlays.
· Audio will continue to play in the background when the phone sleeps or the app is closed. The standard iOS audio controls can be used to control audio playback in the background.
· Video and audio content support AirPlay.
· New custom alerts from your local meteorologist in markets with participating media providers.
· New location tracking algorithm provides better accuracy while trying to strike a balance between precision and battery usage.
· Improved interaction with our servers reduces delays and helps ensure the settings you choose are properly synced with our servers.
What's New in 1.2:
· Now you can turn on the hurricane cone of probability for multiple storms in the interactive map by pressing (i) in the iMap screen.
· Applied a fix that should improve user experience when the app is coming out of suspend mode
· Added a fix that resolves the issue where alerts occasionally do not appear on the radio screen requiring that app to be restarted.
· Added an LBS update button so people can manually update LBS because some users want it to update more frequently.
· Added a location (My Places) refresh button so users can make sure there locations are updated.
· Added messaging to the nicknames screen to prevent confusion. Some users are only renaming locations when they think they are actually adding locations.
· Placed an audio icon on the "listen to forecast" button so users know it will launch an audio player.
· Added a Play/Pause button on the audio screen.
· Added a popup alert for users who forget they have the mute button on preventing them from hearing warnings.
· Re-ordered the severe weather layers so tornado polygons take priority over other watch and warning boxes.
· Added the date and time to the alert list so people do not have to open the alert to get details.
What's New in 1.1:
· Some of you had a hard time launching the app within Apple's 20 second time limit in extremely poor network coverage. So, we made it load faster.
· LBS/ "follow me" functionality improved.
· Performance and stability enhancements.
