This app is an introduction to the Biggest location-based hobby in the world - Geocaching - with over 1,240,000 geocaches hidden worldwide and waiting to be found by you!
Groundspeak’s free Geocaching Intro application will lead you through your first few geocaching experiences and provide you with a basic introduction to the hobby, sport and addiction.
· Access three geocaches near your current location
· View geocache description and hint
· Access geocache size, difficulty and terrain ratings
· View your location and geocache location on the embedded map
· Navigate to geocaches with a simulated compass arrow or directly from the map screen
· Vibration and audible geocache proximity alert

· Resolved searching delay issues
· General bug fixes
What's New in 1.2:
· Added a sound and device vibration when you are getting close to the geocache.
· Fixed the formatting of HTML descriptions so that images appear at the right size and the description fits on the screen well.
· Added automatic selection of units based on your current locale.
· Restored support for remembering the app state when you close the app. This now works in iOS4.
· Added instructions on how to handle the case when Location Services have been disabled for the app. This will address the issue of the application not knowing where you are located.
