Comic Book DS To those of you who's watched the movie BIG with Tom Hanks in it, you would most likely remember that scene where he is presenting his idea for the company's new product. In it, he was pitching for an electronic kind of comic book, where one would only need to press buttons in order to read, view, or create their own comic book adventure. Back in the early 1990's, that sure seemed like a wonderful, hi-tech and far-fetched idea.

Fast forward to 2006. Yes, the idea of an electronic comic book still is wonderful. It is most definitely hi-tech, but now, it ain't so farfetched. In fact, Paco_777 was generous enough to share his version of Tom Hank's BIG idea through his first DS project, the "Comic Book DS".

The "Comic Book DS" is a comic book viewer, which can also double as a photo viewer. Though still currently in beta version, with the PC part (where you can transform your pictures into a .nds file) still not finished yet, you can already install the French Comic Book "La Vie de Norman" on your DS for you to get the feel of the program. Paco_777 promises to give you a fully functional V1, including the program allowing you to convert your comic books) in just a few days.

But while it's yet to come, feel free to explore the program by clicking on the download links below. The ReadMe is available through the Read link.
