It's always nice to see budding new homebrew programmers try their hand at coding simple games on the handheld platforms for gamers to while away the time with. JBskateur, a French homebrew developer for the PSP has released a brand new multi-player shooter titled Wormstation v1.
The game itself is a hotseat-type shooter where two player controlled worms fight it out inside... get this, a bathroom. Since wireless support isn't included in this version, the controls can be a little tight since the first and second player have to manipulate their little worms using the d-pad and the four buttons, while using their respective shoulder buttons to fire at the opponent.
This amusing little shooter is still in its birthing stages so you can expect a lot of small gameplay and programming issues to come up. JBskateur has already planned future releases which will include a proper opening menu for the game, a single-player mode and several maps to frag other worms in.
