PlayStation 3 Cloud Drive Syncs Your Saves With Google Drive
Saving games in the cloud used to be a PS+ perk, but now custom firmware users can enjoy that luxury on PS3 for free!
Saving games in the cloud is a great service for all console owners. Whether you head to a friend's house or your system crashes, you'll never lose all of the progress you've made on your favorite titles. Up until now, PlayStation Plus has given subscribers 1GB of cloud data for this purpose. Still, 15GB with no charge certainly sounds a lot better. With this brand new app by M.H.A.Q.S you'll be able to sync all of your saves through a Google Drive account. The developer describes his work below.
Current Features:
The application works with Google Drive. You will need a Google account to use it.
Google Drive comes with 15GB of free space compared to PS Plus's 1GB.
Remote Authorization through "OAuth 2 for Devices" does not need you to give application any of your personal information.
Bi-Directional Sync is possible. The application will sync your saves to the cloud and will download them to your hard drive.
Resume support is present and you can quit the application any time you want. The app will pick up from where it left off.
Resumable uploads and partial responses are supported.
Save Revision and pinning/sticky support.
Save Difference and update will only sync data that has changed to cut bandwidth usage.
gzip compression for faster transfers. This is to save bandwidth on those ridiculously big "replays" and saves from some games.

In previous version you could copy no copy saves but it left the no copy flag bit in the save so unless you used a Hex editor you couldn't copy the save game back to your Wii. Now this bit is removed when you copy the save over. Thanks Kenobi for this patch
