Homebrew Developer xart has released Melody v1.0.2. This MP3 player for the PSP has one of the best Graphical User Interfaces we've seen, and the latest release is no exception.
Quite a few changes have been added that makes an upgrade to this program a must from those using Melody v0.9. The subsequent iterations introduced support for ID3v1.x & ID3v2.2 TAGs as well as Repeat and Shuffle options for listening to music. The most recent update adds ID3v2.3 & ID3v2.4 TAG support making it easier to properly sort and archive your music.
If you plan on using TAGs, xart gave word on our forums that any MP3 files with any problems in its TAGs will cause the program to lockup on bootup. The PSP will then reset automatically.
So what are you waiting for, download the program and try it out. As with all homebrew, be sure to go over the readme file for installation instructions to avoid any mishaps.
