OpenTyrian DS Homebrew shoot-em-up action explodes on your Nintendo DS with the arrival of developer Dopefish's OpenTyrian DS, now on its 0.3 version! For those of us not in the know, OpenTyrian is a port of the vertical shoot-em-up (that's shmup to you purists) original on DOS, and now it's been made to play perfectly on your DS. Clever, right? From DOS to DS. There's some sort of poetry going on there.
In any case, here's the changelog:
Recent Changes:
* Redesigned the bottom screen in single-player Arcade and Full Game modes. * Improved stability and performance. * Fixed a control mapping issue; you should now be able to properly map all buttons to controls. * Improved music playback (thanks to moi, Renard). Some of the .WAV files have been modified for this; please download the complete package instead of just the .NDS file.
Changes for version 0.2:
* Fixed a bug that was corrupting save games, causing a crash when you tried to load the game. * Removed the horizontal scaling in most places, to make the text easier to read. On some screens you may need to scroll slightly left or right; use the L and R buttons for this. If you prefer the old scaled mode, you can toggle this feature on the OpenTyrian menu. * Added menu options to start Super Arcade mode or Destruct, from the OpenTyrian menu.
Customary warning goes here: whenever dealing with homebrew, be sure to read up first before doing anything. In this case, reading through the readme file bundled in the archive prior to attempting installation is generally a good idea. Enjoy!

Introduction
------------
This is a port of id Software's Quake to the PSP. There's already an excellent port out there by PacManFan, but I wanted to code something for the PSP and it was a good project. I also wanted to port from the original id source, instead of the PocketQuake source
RaveWild RaveWild
from ShinCrusader:
RaveWild is a mix between a top-down shooter, a tower defense game (kinda), and a real-time strategy. You create three different units to protect you as invaders pour in at an increasing rate. Your job is to survive as long as you can. This is an alpha build, so be sure to give me constructive feedback so I can improve on it

Kurok Kurok - MDave's dropped by the forums earlier and he's brought along with him v0.4 of his homebrew game Kurok. It's packing a lot of new stuff, and he says that hopefully we'll see online servers now too. Cool, huh?
Anyway, all the information you know should be in the readme file, such as installation instructions and the changelog
