Cooking timer Infantile Paralysiser, the developer of Moonshell, has released Cooking timer v0.2. This application for the Nintendo DS is essentially an alarm tool that uses pre-selected MP3s instead of the usual annoying buzz associated with more traditional clocks.
Despite its name, we haven't tried to use this application to alert us when our food is done but we have no doubt that it can be used as such. The developer gave word that this latest version has some minor changes though we couldn't really tell since it works just like the previous release. If this is the first time you're trying this program, note that you can tweak the language settings and set it to English in the option menu.
Nintendo DS owners who need a good alarm clock should look into (if not try out) this application. More experienced coders will be happy to see that the source code of the homebrew is included, so they can play around with that a bit.

Homebrew developer Baly23 dropped by QJ.NET Development Forum and released a new version of pet application Timers bringing it up to version 0.9 Beta. For those who missed our last coverage on this, Timers is actually, well, a timer clock that should prove to be useful in our fitness exercises.

Ok, this is one of the strangest homebrew applications i have ever used. Raio has released his PSPTimer v3 homebrew application...and as you can see by the screenshots, it's a girl holding a cup which says 'noodle timer' on it
DsGoClock DsGoClock Trooper is really proud and pleased of his first homebrew, so much so that he decided to share it with all of you! The DsGoClock is "a Go clock to be used while playing on real board". While Trooper is skeptical as to just how many people would actually find use for it, he nonetheless hopes that it will be appreciated

If you work-out, you'll know the importance of properly timing your regiment. Developer Baly23 has come out with a tool that will help you in this respect: Timers v0.8. He even included a handy video which shows off the homebrew and its capabilities.
