Homebrew developer trevis dropped by our forums to release PyBlast v0.1. The object of the game is simple, blow up your opponent's tank before it blows you up. While this is simple in theory, it takes a certain amount of skill since you have to aim the gun while factoring in for wind and the amount of force you have to put into the shot.
In the release thread of the homebrew, the developer has announced the different features he plans on adding to the game. Fan favorites such as online play, a menu systems, more weapons, and a better AI system might actually be making it to the program in future releases so that's something to watch out for.
If you plan on downloading PyBlast v0.1, be advised that it has only been tested on 2.71 SE-B. Before we go, here are the installation instructions of the program as taken from our forums:
You should be able to just extract to your game150 folder, and play. I havent tested which firmwares this works on, as I only have 2.71 SE-B installed. It's written in python, so any firmware that runs python should be able to run this.
