Xeeynamo has updated his little hex editor homebrew app for the PSP. Now smallHex v1.4, it's carrying quite a lot of changes, but we're not stopping there, are we? Xeeynamo has also released smallHex Lite, which is pretty much the same as smallHex, only with a different flavor.
As Xeeynamo describes it, smallHex Lite is a hybrid of sorts - it's got the functions of the original smallHex v1.0 release plus all the improvements he's made in smallHex v1.4. Being a hybrid "Lite" version, it can only run fine on 140mhz. Meanwhile, the full-fledged smallHex v1.4 can do it at 170mhz.
Here's the changelog for smallHex v1.4:
* Software completely rewritten and optimized
* Added flash0 (read), flash1 (read&write), flash2 (read) and UMD (read) support (SQUARE)
* Added in file manager the current path
* Added a key to return at root (TRIANGLE)
* Extended the Undo function
* Added Search function (HEX/DEC 8/16/32 BIT UN/SIGNED)
* Added Add Mode function
* Added Backup function
* Added a converter (HEX/DEC/BIN)
* Added a small help
* Added diagonal scroll with the analog pad
Both smallHex v1.4 and smallHex Lite have their own changelogs included in the download archive.
