Homebrew developer grafele (the creator of Crash! Car) and the rest of the PSPfreak.de development team have come out with Fall Ball v1.0. Interestingly enough, the game comes in two versions, one for the 1.00 kernel and another for the 3.xx kernel. This means that you can try out this game no matter what PlayStation Portable model (Slim or Phat) you're using.
The game is simple but hard to master. Players have to guide a ball through various holes as it falls down from the top of the screen. Unlike most homebrew games, you play this game with the PSP in a horizontal position and control the game using the O, X [ ], and /_ buttons.
The developers didn't mention if they plan on releasing future versions of this application. If they do, perhaps they might decide adding some improvements to the game such as variable levels and options to tweak the physics governing the ball.

PSPhakkor can hardly contain his excitement with his first PSP Lua homebrew game called 100m Dash v0.1. He says it was only yesterday when he couldn't make sense of C++ on the PSP. So he switched to Lua and programmed a running game similar to Olympic track and field games for other platforms. See what you can accomplish when you don't give up?
