Ok, this is one of the strangest homebrew applications i have ever used. Raio has released his PSPTimer v3 homebrew application...and as you can see by the screenshots, it's a girl holding a cup which says 'noodle timer' on it.
From what i can gather, the application is supposed to be an egg timer, but then why does it have 'Noodle timer' on the box? Is it a noodle or an egg timer? Anyway, it shows the time (GMT +8 hours) and date in the botton left corner. The animation starts with an egg cracking, then changes to what looks like a tube filling with blood, which i guess, is the timer. The words 'PSP Timer' are displayed in the corner, along with an ascending timer. Whatever it is timing, noodles or an egg, it's finished in about 180 seconds (3 minutes).
After this amount of time the picture ofthe girl changes to look like she's eating the noodles, and you can press start to exit the application, which is the only interactive part of this application. It's...bizzare to say the least. Download it and try it out for yourself. If you know exactly what it does, please enlighten me. If you can read Japanese, then check out the developer Raio's website.
By the highly intellectual process of enie meanie miny mo, its an egg timer - but still, why would you an egg timer on your PSP? I wonder what the previous versions were like.

Timers Timers
Homebrew developer Baly23 dropped by QJ.NET Development Forum and released a new version of pet application Timers bringing it up to version 0.9 Beta. For those who missed our last coverage on this, Timers is actually, well, a timer clock that should prove to be useful in our fitness exercises.
The program starts 10 different timers in sequential mode
STOPPUHR DS STOPPUHR DS Developer's note:
A stopwatch with a little lapcomputer.
I've programmed it because none of the DS Stopwatches I've tried are accurate.
Mine isn't 100% accurate either, but it's OK, I'm using it at work and for cooking. smile
Cooking timer Cooking timer Infantile Paralysiser, the developer of Moonshell, has released Cooking timer v0.2. This application for the Nintendo DS is essentially an alarm tool that uses pre-selected MP3s instead of the usual annoying buzz associated with more traditional clocks
StopWatchDS StopWatchDS StopWatchDS is a DS homebrew program that serves as a stopwatch with some other functions. Notes from the developer:
Hello again,
I had some time to play around with this little App, and so I added some colors and digital numbers (thanks to Ashai Rey for the Digital Numbers Demo) to the output function for better readability (sp?)
Alarmii Changelog:
added: auto-load/save settings to SD card (now you don't have to setup every time!)
DsGoClock DsGoClock Trooper is really proud and pleased of his first homebrew, so much so that he decided to share it with all of you! The DsGoClock is "a Go clock to be used while playing on real board". While Trooper is skeptical as to just how many people would actually find use for it, he nonetheless hopes that it will be appreciated
