P-Ishido is a polished and challenging tile-matching puzzle game with multiple full-color high resolution board and piece sets (default, hieroglyphic and Ugaritic pieces are included) for high resolution Palm OS devices, based on the rules of Ishido.
You place pieces on the board, one by one, beside existing pieces, hoping to get four-way matches. The rules for placing pieces are:
* If the new tile has only one neighbor, it must match it by shape or by color or both.
* If it has two neighbors, then one of these must have (at least) the same shape as it and the other must have (at least) the same color as it.
* If it has three neighbors, then either two of these must have (at least) the same shape as it and the other (at least) the same color as it, or else one of these must have (at least) the same color while the other two have (at least) the same shape.
* If it has four neighbors, then two of the neighbors must have (at least) the same shape as it and the other two must have (at least) the same color as it. This is called a "four-way".
Full source code is included.

* Quickly launch an application (or Desk Accessory) just by holding down the first letter, which gives you a list of all the applications starting with that letter.
* Pop up an application on top of another application by pressing Option and then holding down the first letter
OnTop OnTop lets you pop up applications on top of another application, and then come back to exactly where you were in the original application when you're done.
You can assign pop-up applications to the four hardware keys on your PDA or Treo, either to the key-press or to a longer key-hold
Shortcuts Prefs Panel Shortcuts Prefs Panel - Users of latest Palm OS devices (Centro/Treo Series, etc.) will note that the shortcuts preferences panel has been covered by default. The functionality however still exists and installing these files will reveal that panel. Please note that both files must be installed
Anti-aliased URW fonts for Plucker 1.6 - OS5 Anti-aliased URW fonts for Plucker 1.6 - OS5 - A lot of anti-aliased hi-res fonts for Plucker 1.6, based on the GPL'ed URW PostScript fonts.

The source code is in the PalmFontConv package
Dal's Russian Dictionary Dal's Russian Dictionary - This is the famous four volume V. I. Dal' dictionary, converted with permission from http://vidahl.agava.ru for Plucker 1.6.
It requires KOI8-R fonts. My converted anti-aliased URW Cyrillic fonts for Plucker will work fine with it.
This includes, near the top, a list of words with transliterations between slashes
ScreenDumpDA This Desk Accessory saves the screen to a .bmp file on your card or built-in drive. Requires a Desk Accessory launcher

Most of the utilities are command-line based and run from a DOS prompt, but there is a Plucker 1.6 font generator with a somewhat friendly GUI
Keyboard Layout Generator for myKbd Keyboard Layout Generator for myKbd - This is a free desktop companion program to the (very soon to be released) myKbd hex keyboard utility for the Palm T3, T5, LifeDrive and TX, which lets you change the colors and layout of hex keyboards. You edit a keyboard by editing a fairly simple text file that describes the colors and layouts (see SampleKeyboard
FontSmoother FontSmoother - Do you wish that the default font on your PDA were smoother or more readable? Or maybe you would like fonts that are smaller but still very legible..
