Elan is a date/time-stamp recording application designed for behavioral data collection in educational settings. Three modes of observation are supported: Continuous, Interval and Time Sample recording. Each mode automatically prompts the user through individual timer settings.
What's New in This Release:
· Version 2.0 adds the capability of configuring 60 user templates which govern data entry and screen appearance. These saved templates may be beamed to another Palm OS device. Anecdotal recording within Elan is also now possible in addition to color support. Data and notes may be reviewed within the application or downloaded via conduit as tab-delimited text files for importing into other programs such as Excel, Word, or any other program which accepts such files for analysis or plotting of data. Conduits for Windows, Mac Classic and OSX are included. Elan 2.0.1 is shareware : $20.00 US. The Demo version is fully functional for a 30 day period. Purchasers will receive a key number which cancels Demo mode. Version 2.0.1 includes fixes Re: the Windows conduit installer and an issue with sleep mode in the actual application.
