Lua Booter
Jomann wanted to have a custom screen pop up on his PSP whenever he turned it on, but he couldn't find any program to do it for him. Then he realized he could probably write this in Lua himself. The result is Lua Booter, an application that'll post a picture of you choice during your PSP's startup process.
It's simple, but very effective
Twelve Walls Module
ci0ud has just released another bumped up version of his homebrew app for the PSP called Twelve Walls Module. Just in case this is your first time to encounter Twelve Walls, it's a module for those who use wallpapers too big to be mixed in one file.
Each month the module will copy to the flash the corresponding wallpaper
PSP BG Split/Merge
After customizing your handheld's XMB, maybe you would like to do the same with the background image. It seems that homebrew coder xmOD was thinking along the same line and that's why he came up with a handy app called PSP BG Split/Merge v1.0.
Just like the name implies, the application is for splitting and merging the 01-12
PSPbgSplitMerge
There are the wave editors, and there are the backgrounds. For the guys manipulating the latter for their PSP, xm0d is letting everybody know that BG Split/Merge has just been updated to version 1.2, and now carries some more user-friendly functions
RCO Editor
Yeah, we've been giving you a barrage of XMB icon edits nowadays - but you may ask how did they come about? Well, the answer to that is ZiNgaBuRgA. He is the creator of the RCO Icon Editor for the PSP, and now he has updated his creation to v1.11. You may know about editing the topmenu_plugin
RCO editor version 1.12
ZiNgaBuRgA has once again updated his application, the nifty RCO Editor to version 1.12. Yeah, this application spawned the various customized XMBs that once lorded QJ. This generic RCO editor will only work with decrypted RCOs and according to ZiNga, firmware 2.50 is preferred and this has only been tested on 3.03 OE-C and 3.10 OE
RCO Editor
Update from the old v1.12 of RCO Editor, with the following changes:
* Fixed the stupid bug which caused the app to crash when editing text
* Fixed more bugs
* Added a text search function
* There's now an "expert" mode (launch RCOEdit with the 'expert' command-line switch or edit the INI)
PSPBackdrop Finaliser
Homebrew developer for the PSP, ultimax, has updated his application PSP Backdrop Finaliser to version 2.6. The application formerly known as PSP Background Creator, lets you create wallpapers for your PSP via Windows. As my fellow QJ blogger Victor B. puts it, "this app feels like some sort of Photoshop Lite"
New Recovery
There's a new recovery homebrew application that is called, well, New Recovery. It was creaded by coder kgsws and QJ Forum member myschoo was good enough to share it with everyone else. One good thing about this is that if you prefer the original recovery menu, you don't actually need to flash this as you can just put in as an eboot
