Can't get enough of Tactical Espionage Action for the PSP? While there's still no news on Snake's next mission in Sony's handheld, we can still count on someone else to do the job in Snake's stead: Bob. As the hero of Metal Blob Solid, Bob needs to infiltrate enemy bases to rescue captured allies.
As a side-scrolling game that was originally developed for Linux, Metal Blob Solid offers a pretty solid gameplay that deserves to be experienced on the PSP. That said, the homebrewed port of the game courtesy of homebrew developer deniska is certainly more than welcome. Check out the features of this port:
* Over 25 missions
* More than 8 hours' gameplay!
* 4 difficulty settings
* Large levels with different environments, such as water, lava, ice and slime.
* Use a variety of different weaponary, including machine guns and laser cannons.
* Multiple objectives
* Jetpack and Aqua Lung items to find
* Optional blood and gore
* Boss Battles!
* Lots of sound effects and music tracks
* Configurable controls
* Cheats: get unlimited health, aqualung/jetpack, rapid fire, extra blood/gore, speed, access to all levels
* Level replay value - Return to previous levels to rescue all MIAs and optional objectives.
Installation instructions as well as other information can be found in the readme file included in the download; better check out the readme first before you proceed to install the Metal Blob Solid. Enjoy this release!
