IamJeff from our forums has released his first homebrew game for the PSP today, Lights Out. Lights out is a game which I'm sure many of you can remember from your childhood. The game is a 5x5 grid of lights, and when the game starts, a sequence random lights are switched on. Pressing one of the lights will toggle it and the four adjacent lights between on and off. The aim of the game is to switch all the lights off. The levels get progressively harder, and this version has 10 levels.
Here's what IamJeff said:
"The object is to turn out all the lights. Square toggles the lights, Triangle resets the level. The graphics aren't much to look at, they're just squares as the moment. No title screen, menu, etc. They will come in the future, along with better graphics."
This is a really good game for a first release, and I'm suprised nobody has released something like this before. Whatever the graphics are like, the puzzle playability are what attracts people to this game, and It'll keep you occupied for hours on end if you've played this game before.
