If you look at your PSP as more of a portable internet browsing device more than a handheld gaming console, then you may want to check out pspflashsystem's new homebrew application, Webapp v1.0. So what's this application all about?
Basically, Webapp lets PSP users launch the handheld's browser at any time, whether it's in the XMB menu, or even if it's running a UMD or a homebrew game. However, do take note that once you jump into the internet while playing a UMD game, you'll be sent back to the XBL menu upon exiting the browser.
There's also another nifty feature to this program. Webapp also lets users set up a combination of button presses to start certain Eboot applications. Great, eh? To get to started on the right track, refer to this installation guide. It's a good thing that pspflashsystem went ahead and gone the extra mile to make two versions of Webapp: one with manual installation, and another that can be installed automatically.
