libLZR This is the initial public release of libLZR - a small open source library that handles the decompression and encoding of LZR-compressed data. (LZR-compression is frequently encountered in PSP firmware resource files.) Decompression results of libLZR should be identical to Sonys internal decompression algorithm. Please report incompatible streams to me
ID3libID3lib
ID3lib ZXeno from our forums has released v0.9 of his ID3lib library for reading ID3 tags from MP3 files in C. This is very usefuil for developers coding some sort of media player or any other homebrew application with MP3 support. It has support for ID3v1 and ID3v2 (all versions should work)

Lua Player Mod 4 (FW 1.5) Homebrew developer cools dropped by the QJ.Net PSP Forums earlier today and unloaded Lua Player Mod 4. It should be remembered that Mod 3 was based on LuaPlayer v0.20. This release, on the other hand, was based on v0.16 which should make it faster. cools also mentioned that Mod 4 was built using the latest sdk and lua 5.1.2
