Wii developer hamachi-mp has released the 38th revision of the Homebrew Filter. This cool homebrew lets you make edits and filter your homebrew. There is a long list of revisions in the changelog which you can view below

An update from Wii homebrew developer XFlak who released an update to ModMii bringing this to version 5.2.1. ModMii was formerly known ast Auto Downloader NUS and it lets you get your SD card ready in a simple and automatic fashion. This will get you ready to softmod your Wii. XFlak has fixed a bug that prevented download of DML to create an emulated NAND

OpenWii 1.3
If you liked homebrew application OpenWii v1.2 then we're pretty sure that you will love this newly released and improve version. To those who missed it, OpenWii is one of 'em modchip programs but unlike the others, this doesn't require installation of full-pledged chips. OpenWii is based on altering your console's microcontrollers and pin configurations

The people responsible for the open source Wii mod OpenWii, has announced in their site that in OpenWii 2.2 includes a DVD upgrade.
Those who love the Wii and find the DVD format handy for their archival purposes, are probably rejoicing right now. Anyhow, before you go on a DVD spree, they do note that you must still use the setup disk to set the region
Wiifree 2.50 LCD mod
MaxConsole forums member vashiee has created a mod for version 2.50 of the Wiifree modchip for the Nintendo Wii video game console. This mod basically adds LCD support to the current Wiifree source.
At this point, vashiee says that the mod doesn't do much except display a "WiiFree 2.50 is loaded" message

Twilight Hack
Over the past couple of days, we've been hearing a lot of homebrew developments that claim that the Nintendo Wii has been fully hacked. And most of those concern the innocent looking game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
According to Team Wiizers, the exploit doesn't work on every version of the game

Twilight Hack
Team Twiizers has updated Twilight Hack to v0.1 alpha 2. For those unfamiliar with this application, it allows users to run ELF files on their Wii. This pretty much opens doors for homebrew on the said console.
This updated version now allows users to load ELF files from an SD card using an SD Gecko or similar device
