FTPii
Here's an update on a very useful Wiibrew: FTPii from developer joedj. Unless you missed its first release, FTPii is a web server for the Wii, its most practical use is giving your console the ability to transfer files to and from your PC without having to eject your SD card.
Now on version 0.0.6, this build fixes on a number of bugs from previous versions
Wii Web Server alpha
During the previous update for Wii Web Server alpha, Cboomf and Felix123 managed to get their experimental homebrew project to load HTML files from a fixed directory on the front SD card.
The devs have since been polishing up the app, which resulted in its capability to now load several file types from the front SD, aside from just HTML
FTPii
Wiibrew developer joeldj has come out with another update for FTPii. The latest version, 0.0.7, adds quite a number of improvements which make this application even better than before
Wii Web Server alpha
The latest for Wii Web Server comes in the form of alpha version 0.7 - a new compilation designed around the probability that the homebrew application will be installed and tested first before the web pages are added
GeckoOS first public release
The USBGecko team, the ones behind Gecko Region Free, has come out with the first public release of the GeckoOS and WiiRD. Together, these two applications allow users to boot and debug a good number of games, including, it seems, those from the homebrew channel

Wiibrew coder teknecal shifts away from memory games for a while and releases Wiihttpd. As the name suggests, this new homebrew program is an HTTP Web server for the Wii.
Wiihttpd is based on another highly useful program, FTPii

Homebrew dev joedj has once again updated FTPii, the Wii's very own homebrew FTP server. With FTpii, you don't have to transfer your SD card from your Wii to your PC if you want to move a few files. Just fire up FTPii and you're basically good to go.
