The Wiimotulator
e-Hernick is working on a "driver" for linux to use the Wiimote . Of course it's "driver" in quotes, because it's not really a driver, as it doesn't have any kernel-mode code. In fact, it is simply a python script
GlovePie
Carl Kenner has updated his app that allows the Wiimote to work with PCs to GlovePie v0.26. This version features a TroubleShooter Bluetooth Fix menu. This might be the answer to the bug that keeps it from working with other BlueTooth adapters. However, Carl says this won't be much help if you are unable to pair your Wiimote without a password
WiinRemote
There's a new version of WiinRemote out, and the minor addition for it as actually something we were waiting for since we first heard about this nifty application. There's now an assignment for double-clicking!
In addition to the double-click assignment, the changlog says this version has "use motion when lost IR added" as a feature
WiinRemote
WiinRemote is back with a recently released Christmas Day upgrade, giving the Wiimote more functionality in its quest to control Windows.
This new version, WiinRemote v2006.12.25, changes the font for the non-Japanese version, and adds some key assignments for some more actions
Wiimote-XMMS control
Here's a nice little hack for all of the people who somehow got Wiimotes for Christmas but no Wii console. A guy by the name of Walter Schreppers has managed to hack his Wiimote and turn it into a remote for his XMMS mp3 player. Check out the video up top to see it in action
GlovePIE
Wii remote hacks are continuously being explored. And while it is possible to "access" your computer via your Wii console, it's quite another thing to actually use the Wiimote to control your PC. And so, Carl Kenner comes into the scene and he's not letting anyone down with his GlovePIE app

Wii OS
We've heard of BigJohn8411 and his "Wii OS" project the other day, and guess what? Eventually, after much deliberation, he's finally released a public version. As a recap of the post from the other day, this application of his is a GUI for his PC that he's made to look just like the Wii Channels Menu
WiiFronted
WiiFronted is a Wii-like file launcher. You can customize every of the 16 channels and the extra button. He notes that since the application is still in beta, users may run into a few bugs while they're using the application
WabModCheap
We have here for you the WabModCheap v2.0 from AloneTrio. What this program does is that it patches the Wii to allow backups to load. This version still lacks some features including the max drive speed "OnTheFly Region Patching" the dev says he's still working on
