PASQ - Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) is an inflammatory arthritis
associated with psoriasis. The purpose of this tool is to determine the likelihood of having the disease. The Psoriatic Arthritis Screening Questionnaire (PASQ) was developed and validated as a sensitive and specific tool to help detect the presence of arthritis in patients suffering from psoriasis. The PASQ is composed of diagram ( where patients mark areas of pain and swelling) and 10 questions. The total score gives an indication whether the person has a high probability of having psoriatic arthritis.
The electronic PASQ is the first such tool to be available on the App world ( and one of the very few in any medical specialities).
The presence of such diagnostic screening tools would improve the access and the early management of many patients that would have been undiagnosed otherwise
Those who have a positive result from the screening test will need further evaluation with subsequent diagnostic tests or procedures.
