Allscripts Mobile Homecare runs on a Windows 7 Smartphone that extends the benefits of the EHR into this market while permitting an easy to use interface for staff. Developed by clinicians for clinicians, this tool permits effortless data gathering and updating of the clinical record while preserving the hands-on care giving interaction that is so vital to the patient encounter.
Allscripts Mobile Homecare is the first application in the industry that has been written for Physical Therapists (PTs), Contract Fill-in or Revisit RNs, and other staff for which Point of Care is too robust and a PDA or cell phone is too limited.
