Calculate Pi - In the seventeenth century, mathematicians Gottfried Leibniz and John Gregory came up with an equation for calculating Pi. This was the first significant change in approach to calculating the value of Pi since Archimedes started using polygons.
The equation is Pi/4 = 1 - (1/3) + (1/5) - (1/7) + (1/9)...
This application enables the user to estimate Pi by running a user-determined number of "iterations". An iteration meaning how many calculations to make.
Notice that as you increase the number of iterations, the estimated value of Pi gets steadily more accurate.
