Cell Life Free is a life simulator based on Conway's Game of Life and is the most fully featured Life simulator on Windows Phone 7 today.
Modes:
* Experimentation Mode - Draw your own cell patterns in the game grid, from 10x10 up to 50x50. Start and stop the simulations whenever you like. You can even draw cells to interact while the simulation is running!
* Simulation Mode - Watch random cell patterns on grids as large as you like to see what happens. Try setting a 100x100 grid or larger and turning the Simulation Delay down for a great viewing experience.
* Pattern Library - This mode lets you see twenty-five pre-programmed patterns that are optimally sized for the best viewing experience. You might be surprised at what the simple rules of Life can produce.
* Full-Screen Mode - Let your cell phone's screen run as an enormous Life simulation. You can tap the screen to randomize the cells or just sit back and watch. If the simulation becomes stable, it will restart on its own!
* Tutorial - Not familiar with Conway's Game of Life? Check out the tutorial to understand how it works and learn about the different game modes available in Cell Life.
Features:
* All main game modes support grid re-sizing. Make the grids as large or small as you like!
* Control the speed of the simulation. You can make the cells evolve more slowly to really see what's happening or you can make them go very quickly to allow for larger simulations. It's up to you!
* Soothing background music with volume and muting controllable by an options menu.
This is the free, ad-supported version of Cell Life. Besides the ads, this game is functionally equivalent to the full game. The ads do make the layout a bit clunkier though so, if you enjoy the game, I recommend purchasing the full version for a better experience. The screenshots are from the full version of the app so you can see what it looks like without ads.
