Based on scientific research and methods the Egg Timer calculates the time an egg needs to reach your desired doneness.
The cooking time to reach your desired doneness will be calculated based on the size of the egg, the start temperature of the egg and the altitude of the location (different air pressure and boiling point). The application offers a normal and an expert mode. The expert mode allows to set the egg size and start temperature in detail while the normal mode simplifies the selection by predefined egg classes (S, M, L and XL) and start temperature as fridge and room.
