Smart Potato Beta is a remote client for accessing and managing Media Center content remotely from a Windows 7 computer. It allows you to view the TV Guide, Channel Listings, Recorded TV (including remote streaming), Scheduled TV, Search, add new one time and series recordings, browse pictures, stream videos and remote control.
Watching TV from remote includes the ability to preserve your last watched position and a list of last watched episodes for quick resume. TVDB is fully integrated to allow you stunning visual exploration of banners, fan art, in depth summary and full episode list of TV shows and movies.
Smart Potato can also be used as a remote client for browsing pictures and streaming videos from a Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 computer that does not have Windows Media Center installed.
Wake On LAN/WAN is supported to automatically wake up the host computer if it is sleeping.
