Cryptographic SMS (Safe SMS) - Cryptographic sms app allows u to send encrypted (Converting text into unreadable forms) sms. So that others cannot see your message. You can also protect your message with password, which will be prompted while decrypting(converting back to readable form) the received sms. Both the sender and receiver should have this app.
Steps are:
Sender:
1.Give username & password as you desire. This is required to get into app.
2.Choose "Send a safe message".
3.Now type your text here. Click OK.
4.If you want to protect your msg with password, choose "With Password". Otherwise choose "Without password".
This password must be known by the receiver to decrypt the msg.
Note: Your login password is different from msg password. Login password is required only to enter into app. msg password is set by u. U can set any password as msg pwd. But it should be known by the receiver.
5.Choose any methods of encryption.
Tip: If ur msg is highly confidential, then choose "Number method", it is unpredictable but it will consume much space.
On the other hand, if ur msg is not so confidential, U can choose the other 2 methods.
6.Click "send".
Receiver:
1.Open the app and give your own username and password.
2.choose "Retrieve safe sms".
3.Copy the received encrypted sms and place it in the textarea.
4.If ur msg is password protected, it will ask for password, enter the valid password and click OK.
5.Ur original message will be there...
This app can be used to send confidential msgs like bank password, Credit card number and other msgs.
