Tail Tracker - Bored at the airport? Are you an airplane spotter, or someone who is ever curious to know about the make, model, seats, age, or other information on an aircraft? You can use Tail Tracker to search the FAA database of airplanes that are registered in the United States. Tail Tracker will allow you to view both commercial airplanes (United, American, Alaska, Southwest, etc) as well as private registrations (Cessna, Piper, Mooney, etc). It's important to note this will only work on airplane tail numbers which start with an "N". The N represents it was registered in the USA. Example: N-123AB would be a valid airplane, whereas V-123 wouldn't.
What's New in This Release:
- Fixed a bug that shows the user an error stating that it couldn't identify your GPS coordinates. The app now will be able to better determine your location.
- Adjusted the background shading on the main page text. The new shading should allow users to better see the featured background picture.
What's New in 2.0:
- Featured Tail number. We will find the airplanes, and share them with you on a somewhat regular basis.
- Tail History - Share with everyone where you've seen an airplane. With the click of a button we'll record your location and the tail number where you searched. View where other's have seen a particular airplane tail.
- Bug Improvements - fixed some bugs that were causing the app to crash under certain circumstances.
- New UI! View the screenshots to see what's changed.
