  SoundSeeing Rome Constantine?s Arch - The most recent of the three triumphal arches in Rome is an assortment of stolen components. Constantine insisted that he also get an arch, just like his predecessors, even though it really was no longer the custom. It had to be finished quickly, thus three-fourths of the ornamentation was taken from elsewhere and the rest was newly made. And it is this mixture that makes the arch particularly so interesting
