11 Plus Maths Tutor VGA - Welcome to the Eleven Plus Maths Tutor, designed to make learning for the eleven plus and secondary school entrance exams easy, both for the parents and the child. This application allows the child to practice math techniques against some example questions based upon previous tests. Although the exact questions may not appear in an exam they cover a broad scope of topics and enable your child to become familiar with the questions and their format.
Whilst revising with my step-son I realised that to succeed several things were essential:

We bought numerous exam papers but unfortunately after taking the exam once the paper lost it''s uniqueness and became easier to complete, my step-son even started to remember some of the answers. Although clever in it''s own right it meant he was no longer practicing the method to answer the question.
I started to produce my own questions but soon realised how complicated it would be to produce questions with meaningful answers and although possible, it was incredibly time consuming. This was how the 11 Plus Maths Tutor was born.
I wanted to develop something that could be used at anytime and allowed my step-son to do workings out without the need for a pencil and paper. The Pocket PC seemed an obvious platform for this, allowing my step-son to write directly onto the screen whilst being able to revise anywhere and at anytime.

NumbersPercents NumbersPercents - This program allows you to enter a number and then use a slider to view the ranges in the number. The program displays the 'percentage' of the total number.
