Sometimes a program will need to perform tasks that take a long time and need no input from the user. So why waste battery power running the screen when you don't have to? KPowerManager allows you to switch off the screen while still allowing your program to run, then turn the screen back on when you're finished.
Enable/Disable Standby Mode
Is a devices automatic standby interupting your programs functioning? KPowerManagers standby functions allow your program to run for as long as it needs to while providing user feedback without forcing your users to make any changes in the control panel before or after running your application.
Set/Get Backlight Brightness Level
Many of the most eye catching programs provide the user with a richly colored interface, but what if the user has set their backlight brightness to a level that makes your program look washed out or too dark?
