MidNote is a fully graphical music editor - you compose by using drag-and-drop in standard staff (music) notation! It offers a tonal range of 6 octaves and up to 10 tracks per piece. Drums are supported as well - even user-defined drum sets per track. You'll also find all the tools you need to speed up composing - like standard edit functions (undo, cut, copy, paste) and musical edit functions (transpose, mirror, invert, and more), chords and a chord editor, lyrics, global accidentals, accentuation, import from and export to standard MIDI format, playing and looping over parts of a track, and and and... This all-in-one installer includes the Freeware GSPlayer MIDI player as well as the PocketC runtime module, and a set of sample music files.
