MtG Compendium for HanDBase - A complete solution for managing your Magic: the Gathering needs. Includes several tables: (1) Inventory: to track your entire collection. Records for each version of each card (7000+). (2) Oracle: current card wordings (5000+) (3) Decks: track as many decks as you want. Comes with some examples. Automatically calculates deck statistics (mana total and by color; mana curve) for each deck. (4) Prices: current price list for all cards, from Magic Online Trading League (5000+). (5) Trades: Record all trades, calculate $ value. (6) Scores: Keep track of player scores, cards in library and graveyard.
(1) This is a very large applet - be sure you have enough memory on your PDA. You can, of course, just use the desktop HanDbase program! (2) Because of the size and structure, you will need to turn automatic calculations off on the handheld. Otherwise, this will run _very_ slowly, especially on older PDAs. I'd recommend making major changes on a fast desktop (initial data entry, major additions), and using the PDA version for lookups, deck construction, smaller updates to inventory, etc. (3) To decrease size and improve performance, I'd also suggest entering your inventory and have/want information, then deleting everything else from the inventory file. Remember, do the processing on the desktop! (4) The trial (limited) version has only a subset of data ... all cards with an 'e' in the name have been either modified or removed from various tables. (5) My first shareware! PayPal me $5 so I can buy some cards, and I'll give you the complete version.
