PocketShield is an intelligent locking/unlocking application. Prevents accidental touch on the phone screen specially when it is turned on not precisely by you. For example: when receiving calls, email notifications, SMS, alarms, etc. As you may have experienced, Pocket PCs wake up whenever any of these events occur, but the problem is: what if the phone is inside your pocket? or even inside its case or pouch? Touch screens are sensible and will take any touch on the screen as a user input, and arbitrary touching could cause many undesired results! IMPORTANT NOTICE TO QVGA OWNERS: We are releasing a handicapped version for devices which are QVGA and which commonly doesn’''''''t have light sensor nor accelerometer. What is a QVGA device? Those devices that have screen resolution of 240x320. Why handicapped? Because it has limitations: - No light sensor support (cannot unlock with light) - No accelerometer support (cannot unlock with gestures) So, handicapped version will only have the following unlocking mechanisms: - Slide - D-pad button - Stylus out - Application permissions - QWERTY unlock (if available) All the other features will work as designed and customer support will also be available.
