WMD-Tasks Widget - This Androkkid widget displays your active, overdue and future tasks.
WMD-Tasks is actually a slimmed down version of WMD-Agenda. However, as opposed to WMD-Agenda, WMD-Tasks will only display days with tasks, making better use of the space available (WMD-Agenda also shows weather information, and because of this displays each day, even if there are no appointments or tasks). This allows you to look further ahead (by default 20 days, where this is only 7 days for WMD-Agenda). Refreshing or loading tasks is much faster than refreshing or loading appointments.
If you want to combine both WMD-Tasks and WMD-Agenda, you can disable tasks in WMD-Agenda via the settings.txt file (parameter showTasks=no).
· shows your overdue, active and future tasks
· displaying overdue tasks is optional (configurable via the settings.txt file located in the /WMDTasks folder)
· the number of tasks displayed, depends on the space available and the number of days to look ahead (see settings.txt file for more info)
· skinnable; the installation file contains 4 skins (a.o. a small skin, using only a portion of your Androkkid page). Skinning is easy and is mainly about creating icons, a background and setting font colors, family and style. The skins contain full settings.txt files with full explanation.
· when a task is clicked, Pocket Outlook or the application of your choice (configurable via the settings.txt file) is launched
· icons to create a new task, refresh the tasks view or to open the tasks application (via settings you can configure which applications are launched)
· optionally shows the last update time
