The Space Invaders Memory Checker shows you at a glance how much RAM memory is available!
Instructions:
- This memory checker features characters from Space Invaders.
- Your device's memory status is displayed.
- Categories displayed:
WIRED (memory in use by the device's system)
ACTIVE (memory used by this app)
INACTIVE (memory occupied by previously active apps)
FREE (unused, available memory)
- When the application is launched, Recommended App information is downloaded. Press "Done" to proceed.
- Touch the Invader in the upper right corner to toggle between color and monochrome displays.
- The musical note in the upper left corner toggles sound effects on and off.
- Note for advanced users: this application displays working memory size only, not available storage space.
- The application launch may be delayed in areas where network access is unavailable or when 3G Wi-Fi signals are weak.
If a large amount of INACTIVE memory is displayed, this may be a sign that unnecessary data is present in the device's RAM. A low amount of available memory frequently impacts the performance of games and other demanding apps, and in that case rebooting the device is recommended. This should increase the amount of FREE memory and improve performance
