Thanks to your newly acquired FinalGlide application, you're making the most of your experiences too, optimizing flight times between waypoints, logging your track data and keeping an eye on your geo location, all while soaring along, happy as a clam.
FinalGlide is handy, customizable and easy to use but has all the power and functionality of a final glide computer. This baby has everything you want as a glider pilot.
You have room for 100 waypoints in FinalGlide, so use as many as you need or want. The application takes into account glider polars, altitude, speed, distance between waypoints and the wind then computes and displays the information for optimizing your flights. It does the work and you reap the benefits of the most pleasurable glide possible.
There are 90 gliders and all of the standard units of measurements all set up and provisioned for. Just find yours and you’re set to go.
If you’re using FinalGlide on an iPhone, your GPS is already in there and working. iPod touch users will need an external GPS but get all of the same great features as iPhone users do.
All of your track data is logged. Once you’re back on terra firma, you can download the data using the FinalGlide web service. If you need to change any information, you can do so easily, just by providing a plist file.
