Tala Free is a practice and learning tool for the most common Indian rhythms (talas). This application graphically represents hand movements for each position in the tala. A mridangam sound is played on the appropriate accented beats. Speed is adjustable, making the application useful for practice and performance. Additionally, silent mode is provided, allowing one to follow along with a live concert.
This free version is ad-supported. An ad-free version of Tala is also available in the marketplace.
