Power Tweaker is an application that allows you to set up to 4 power profiles. Each profile defines backlight timeout and power off time for both AC and battery modes.
This application also allows you to set up a default profile that should be applied after each soft reset. This is very useful if you often use applications that change setting to keep your device alive and tend to reset without quitting them. This app will restore settings to your preferred ones.

MyShutdown MyShutdown will shut down the device using the same (HTC) method as if you'd press and hold the power on/off button for longer. On all HTC devices since the "Kaiser" the "Yes/No" dialog will be skipped and the device is shut down instantly. It will not work on non-HTC devices (will do no harm either however).
