SoundSeeing Paris Arc de Triomhpe - This victory arch was built after the triumphant battle at Austerlitz to further honor and glorify Emperor Napoleon. Indeed, at a time when his star was still rising. Napoleon would never actually see the finished monument, but in homage to him, an urn with his ashes was later driven through the arch. Perhaps he got something from the monument after all, since the war symbolism and the heroism are practically dripping off it.
