SxCx (Surgical Complication Rates) Application is database of surgical complication rates for use by patients and physicians. It is an open-source project wherein its users can submit and edit the procedures and complications stored in the database. Submissions can be made at sxcx.crowdsapp.com. All submissions and their original sources are reviewed by a panel of editors and permission from the original publisher is sought. The updates are then included in the next update of the application. This project relies heavily on its users to submit content and share knowledge with the rest of the surgical community.
