Athletes Calculator - The Athlete's Calculator (tm) for PalmPilot (tm) is a specialized calculator for runners, cyclists, swimmers, triathletes, and other fitness enthusiasts, designed for your hand-held PalmPilot Organizer from 3Com/U.S. Robotics. Here's what The Athlete's Calculator for PalmPilot will do for you: (a) Calculate pace given time and distance (b) Calculate distance given time and pace - a great way to estimate distances on new, unmeasured routes (c) Calculate time given distance and pace - perfect for estimating your finishing time in an upcoming race (d) Save the results of calculations, HotSync to your desktop computer, and merge the workouts directly into your Athlete's Diary log! (e) Calculate individual and cumulative paces (or times and distances) for splits of interval workouts or any workout with different legs or segments of the same or different distances. Estimate your finishing time for a marathon using different paces for the first 20 and last 6.2 miles, and see the total time automatically calculated. (f) Allows input and calculates output in a wide variety of units - miles, kilometers, yards, meters, and feet for distance, and minutes per mile, minutes per kilometer, minutes per hundred yards, minutes per hundred meters, miles per hour, and kilometers per hour for pace. (g) Performs simple conversion from any units to any other units for distance and pace. If you have a swim workout specified in pace/100 meters, and your pool is measured in yards, just convert! (h) Includes a "mini-calculator" which allows you to add or subtract times and paces (as well as distances) - try adding 1:31.7, 1:27.5, 1:32.5, and 1:29.3 with a regular calculator. You can also multiply and divide, so if your coach tells you to do a workout 30% slower than your 10K pace, you 'll be able to calculate what that pace is. (i) Full support for Graffiti input for all functions - write your calculations instead of tapping them out if you prefer. (j) Support for cut, copy, and paste. (k) Takes up only 18K on your Pilot!

Supported operating systems:
Palm OS 4.x, Palm OS 5.x
Other Software by developer «Stevens Creek Software»:
RaceBase RaceBase - There are a number of PC-based race scoring software packages available, and times recorded by PocketTimer can be imported into virtually all of them. But for the complete handheld solution, there's RaceBase. RaceBase combines the times from PocketTimer with information about the race entrants in order to completely score the race
Handy Randy Handy Randy - There are all sorts of uses for random numbers, ranging from the frivolous (playing games) to the serious (handing out prizes at events such as seminars or races) to the ultra-serious (performing business audits). Handy Randy is the ultimate random number software for the Palm, easy to use but with features galore
AreaCoder AreaCoder - Just to find the numbers in your Address Book that you want to change is no easy task using the built-in Address Book application. The main display of the Address Book displays only one phone number per person; other numbers like the work, fax, pager, etc. of that person aren't shown
Take An Order! Take An Order! - Take orders and print receipts on the spot from your Palm handheld computer! Use it for taking orders, providing quotations or estimates, supplying delivery reports, and more. Includes tax, shipping, customer identification, and more
EZ KB EZ KB - The collapsible case of the Tungstens is great, but if you have to enter any information, even a single character (like when you want to use the "Find" feature of the Address Book, for example), you have to open up the case. EZ KB lets you use the "5-way navigator" button on your device to popup the onscreen keyboard
Race Announcer Race Announcer - Racers love to hear their names announced as they cross the finish line. A handful of people win their age group, but for the rest, nothing provides that "warm, fuzzy" feeling like the thrill of hearing your name
Handy Label Handy Label - There are a number of very nice, very flexible programs available for desktop computers to allow you to print barcode labels. If you have a portable barcode label printer, however, it may well be because you need to print labels "on the go" - while walking around a shop, supermarket, or warehouse, or even in the field
ScanConfig ScanConfig - There are a number of barcode-enabled PalmOS handheld devices on the market, mostly from Symbol Technologies
CatScan CatScan - Imagine what you could do if you could download up to 32 different catalogs (databases) each containing up to 32 fields and up to 32,767 records into your Palm, Symbol SPT, or Handspring Visor, and quickly look up information in those catalogs manually or by barcode scanning
