With Live Tracker the location of your Android phone can be tracked in real-time using a web browser. You can send an invitation email to selected contacts containing the link to track your location. Live Tracker provides continuous feedback about the number of web browsers tracking your location.
Easy to use
Once Live Tracker has been downloaded and installed it can be used instantly. No registration anywhere is required in order to use the application or to track the location with a web browser.
You have full control over Live Tracker and decide when you want to be tracked: Once you've hit the Start button it starts transmitting your location. After you hit the Stop button no location data is transmitted anymore.
In order to provide the most exact location Live Tracker always uses GPS and does not rely on the much less accurate location determined by the cell phone network.
Location display
By default the location is displayed using Google Maps. However you may easily switch to Google Satellite, Google Physical or Open Street Map by clicking on the plus mark on the right hand side of the map. Especially in Central Europe the maps of the Open Street Map project are often more accurate than Google Maps since they are kept up to date by enthusiasts.
