Mobi FileShield - 1. A utility application that secures user’s file on Blackberry smartphone. Secured file is protected and can only bring back to readable format once un-secured by this same application.
2. Application can secure/unsecure any kind of file that is available on device.
3. Application is accessible only when registered and user provides valid PIN to log in.
4. File secured by one device is quite private to that device only. Even if user will try to transfer the file to other device by any medium and try un-securing the file by same Mobi FileShield application on other device, he will not able to do so.
5. Once file is secured, it can’t be secured again by this application.
6. We have a feature of file recovery: this feature is provided in case of user has accidently renamed the secured file from native file system application. If user forgot the previous secured file name but know the renamed file, he can recover the file manually by selecting our “Recover File” menu option.
7. Application provides SMS support in case of Pin is forgotten, SMS containing PIN will be send to registered mobile number.
8. Application provides option to update the user profile, like changing registered mobile number, changing PIN.
9. User can see the list of secured file on the landing page of application under “File List” tab.
10. In case of secured file is deleted/renamed by native file system of device, user will get an indicative, red cross file icon, that shows either file is deleted or renamed.
