Orange WiFi - Orange WiFi lets you easily connect to BT Openzone WiFi hotspots included in your Orange plan, with no need to remember numbers or passwords. If you don’t have WiFi included in your Orange plan you can buy a bundle.
With Orange WiFI you can:
- Get access to over 200,000 hotspots when you're indoors or out and about.
- Save your mobile internet allowance by using WiFi instead.
- Use the Orange WiFi hotspot finder to find your nearest BT Openzone hotspot.
Using Orange WiFi
When you first launch Orange WiFi it will check to see if you have WiFi included in your plan and if you do it will automatically retrieve your username and password and store them. Once these details are stored you can just minimise the app using your BlackBerry menu key to leave Orange WiFi running and it will automatically connect you to WiFi hotspots when you’re out and about.
If you want to find a WiFi hotspot you can use the ‘hotspot finder’ option on the menu to locate public WiFi hotspots near to you and see them on a map.
For best results it is recommended that you enable GPS on your device.
