Location Notes is a BlackBerry application which allows you to save GPS coordinates and notes or information about that place in a small database.
· Save notes and extended information along with GPS coordinates.
· Export saved notes to a BlackBerry memo
· Send individual saved notes via e-mail
· Send entire group of saved notes as kml file attachment: explore your notes and results in Google Earth.
· View/Map saved coordinates in Google or BlackBerry Maps
· The trial counts the number of location saves or updates performed.
What's New in This Release:
· Added coordinate editor that supports decimal degrees; degrees, minutes; and degrees, minutes, seconds. Added altitude editor supporting feet or meters. OS5 devices will see Satellite count as location fix is being acquired, this can be helpful in determining if your location is sufficiently open for valid coordinates from the GPS. Added support for importing and exporting, and emailing GPX, and KML formats, also import support for LOC format. added BlackBerry Maps based location picker. Requires OS4.7 or better, and BlackBerry Maps. Added "Mark" and "Selection Info" to get information about distance and bearing between two points. Added directional information in distance sort. Registration information now saved in Desktop Manager backup, can be restored after device wipe, or OS upgrade. Added better option layout support for low resolution and smaller devices.

I'm a traveling sales rep, and being able to see my day 'in the rear view mirror' is very valuable to me. I don't completely understand the app yet, but the only real question I have right now is that I cannot open the gpx or kml formats. Without being able to have the reports, the app doesn't benefit me. Can you help with this? Thanks.
