PhoneBill2 - This uniquely designed phonecall minutes tracker should save users a lot of money: a dynamic icon on your home screen updates after each phone call, telling you if you are using too many minutes, on average, day-to-day! No more phone bill surprises from going over your monthly cellphone minutes allowance, and you could move to a cheaper call plan.
The only app of its kind with no need to remember to open the app regularly, just glance at the real-time color-coded icon.
PhoneBill2 free Beta (PB2) works mainly through the color-coded icon which tells you how quickly you are using minutes compared to your average allowance per day. It tracks text messages in the heading.
If you are spending well within your means, the icon is green. Under, and it is yellow. Just under, and it is orange. If you are spending too quickly, it turns red. If you are approaching your monthly allowance, the dollar sign becomes an exclamation mark, and if you go over, it becomes an X.
And at the end of your monthly billing cycle, PB2 informs you of your spending for the month.
I believe PB2 to be ready but it is a free beta to be certain: if you use it, please *every* user, email me letting me know if it works for you, particularly if it recognises 'special numbers' in your country and plan. If you discover an issue you can have another app. Price will rise soon.
*Give PB2 trusted/full permissions and read the instructions*. PB2 has the bulk of but not all plan features used in many different countries (not US AT&T) but can be useful even for unsupported plans. PhoneBill2 will be rolled out for more models soon- email if you want it for your model and I will get it tested and released.
Phone plans can be tricky, but you only need to set up PB2 once of course. If the Help isn't enough for Smart Dialling, you can contact me.
