TrackMe is a mobile application that helps users to update their mobile location to friends, family and location managing server. The primary purpose of this application is to provide real time tracking , store tracks of your trips and set Geo-fence at our website http://lifeline.csr.com/.
TrackMe is designed, developed and hosted by CSR plc (http://csr.com) .
Some of the features in this application include:
- Real time tracking to your friends, family member:
a. Periodically sends location updates to the location managing server.
b. Location update interval can goes from seconds to an hour based on device movement.
c. Optimized in battery usage. Uses advance algorithm to deduct device movement in updating location
interval
d. Can run application both as background or UI application
e. Display current location on your device screen.
- Live Tracking can be viewed by visiting our website at http://lifeline.csr.com
- User has to register at http://lifeline.csr.com before using the mobile application.
- Registered mobile number is required to start the application. Note, unregistered mobile number will not be accepted.
- Once Tracking started, Visit http://lifeline.csr.com and login into the website with your userid and password.
Dashboard :
• To view friends,family current location on map on our website
• To view friends,family location history on map on our site.
- Invite/delete/modify new friends,family member from our website.
- Alert: Set various triggers such as area fence, speed and be alerted via SMS, email when trigger condition meets.
- Ability to Generate KML and XML data of your current and history locations.
Note:
- Your device should have GPRS to connect the location managing Server while TrackMe is in Operation.This
operation shall cost data charges to users.
- Sign up on http://lifeline.csr.com is required to use this application.
- Please make sure your device has GPRS and GPS Service open for third party Apps.
